How to make your signature

  1. Choose Draw or Type. Drawing works best with a touchscreen or stylus; typing works with a keyboard.
  2. Draw in the box, or type your name and pick a style.
  3. Pick black or blue ink.
  4. Download the PNG. The background is transparent, so it sits cleanly on a document.

The tool runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is sent to Angelwood or saved on a server.

Signature image vs e-signature

A signature image is a picture of your signature. A proper e-signature process also records who signed, when, and what version of the document they signed, which is far stronger evidence if a contract is ever questioned.

For client agreements, use an e-signature workflow rather than pasting an image. Whether an electronic signature is valid for a particular document depends on local law, so check if you’re unsure.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Questions people ask.

Talk to us
Is a typed or drawn signature legally binding?

Electronic signatures are widely accepted for many business contracts, but rules vary by country and document type. This isn’t legal advice; check what applies to your agreement.

Is my signature stored or uploaded?

No. It’s created in your browser and downloaded straight to your device.

Can I use the signature in my email footer?

Yes, though many people prefer not to put a signature image in emails, as it can be copied. Keep it for documents you send directly.
