CLIENT UPDATES

Your notes in.
A clear update out.

Paste notes or upload files and Angelwood drafts a structured project status update with sources. Your team edits, approves and sends it.

Client updates are on every plan.

How AI-drafted updates work

A project status update tells the client what’s shipped, what’s in progress, what’s blocked and what’s next. In Angelwood you give the update generator your source notes (meeting notes, bullet points or uploaded files) and choose a writing tone. It drafts the update in those sections and flags anything it is unsure about as low confidence or needing verification.

Nothing reaches the client until your team has reviewed it. A saved draft sits in the portal as Draft, moves to Ready to Send once approved, and becomes Delivered when sent.

What clients see

Clients read the update on the portal’s Updates page, with changes since the last update and any supporting citations. They can ask questions underneath it, which your team answers from client questions.

Prefer to write updates by hand? The free client status update template uses the same structure.

GOOD QUESTIONS

Questions about this feature.

Talk to us
Does the AI send updates to clients on its own?

No. Drafts are saved to the portal for your team. Someone has to approve the update and then send it before the client sees it.

What can I use as source material?

Paste meeting notes or bullet points, or upload files. The draft cites the material it used so you can check it.

Can I edit the draft before sending?

Yes. Review and edit the generated sections before you save and approve the update.

Can updates go out on a schedule?

You can set an update cadence per portal. Angelwood then reminds your team when it’s time to draft, approve or send. See [update cadences and follow-ups](/features/client-follow-ups).
